Freelance Mobile App Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Freelance Mobile App Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience building, launching, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS. You will be responsible for developing scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications while working closely with our product, UI/UX, frontend, and backend teams. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with modern mobile development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter, along with a solid understanding of mobile architecture, API integration, authentication, push notifications, app performance, and deployment to the App Store and Google Play Store. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of mobile development from development and integration to testing, deployment, and post-launch improvements. We are looking for someone proactive, technically strong, quality-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced product environment.

What You'll Do:

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and production-ready mobile applications for Android and iOS using react-native or flutter
• Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into responsive mobile experiences
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services
• Implement authentication, authorization, OTP, social login, and secure session management
• Integrate push notifications and real-time communication where required
• Implement local storage, caching, offline capabilities, and synchronization where required
• Optimize applications for performance, stability, responsiveness, and battery usage
• Integrate third-party SDKs, payment gateways, maps, analytics, and other required services
• Perform debugging, testing, and troubleshooting across Android and iOS
• Prepare applications for Google Play Store and Apple App Store submission
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, backend developers, and other engineers
• Take complete ownership of assigned mobile modules from development to production

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native or Flutter
• Experience building and deploying production Android and iOS applications
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services
• Experience with authentication, authorization, OTP, push notifications, and deep linking
• Good understanding of Android and iOS platform capabilities and limitations
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with mobile application performance optimization
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
• Ability to independently manage development tasks and deliver within agreed timelines

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging and push notifications
• Experience with Google Maps or Mapbox integrations
• Experience building SaaS, ERP, EdTech, FinTech, or other large-scale applications
• Experience working with startups or product companies
